The 2013 Lebanese Parliamentary elections needed a contemporary identity.

Project story
Parliamentary elections with a contemporary and fresh identity can increase voting's appeal to citizens.
The Problem
Parliamentary elections can be very dull and uninviting in terms of visual identity and communication. The Lebanese elections of 2013 (which sadly did not happen then) were in need of a proper identity to incite people to exercise their democratic right. By pure chance, we happened upon what was being presented for the project and decided to take part.
Our Work
The logo was developed with two main elements: a ballot box, symbol of elections and a cedar tree symbol of Lebanon, as if to say "elect your Lebanon". The edgy nature of the shapes and the usage of a restricted palette of colors inspired by the Lebanese flag were key elements to reflect a contemporary and vibrant identity.
