Middle Eats
Naming and brand identity for a cloud kitchen reinventing Middle Eastern platters for delivery.
Project story
Middle Eastern, Not the Usual
The Concept
Middle Eats is a cloud kitchen concept dedicated to serving premium Middle Eastern cuisine at affordable prices. It reinvents the Middle Eastern platter for delivery, with a diverse menu that appeals to a broad audience. The promise is simple: Middle Eastern delights, but not the usual way. Kook collaborated with the Menu Mechanics team to create the name and design the brand identity. A cloud kitchen has no dining room, no storefront, and no waiter, so the brand is the first and often only impression customers get. A strong digital presence is crucial, because the screen is where the experience starts. The challenge was to make premium food feel approachable and affordable at once, and to stand out in delivery apps crowded with similar options. The brand needed a fresh, contemporary, and friendly voice that broad audiences understand instantly. The name, Middle Eats, says exactly what it is.

The Identity
Kook designed the brand identity elements tailored for a cloud kitchen. Middle Eats is short, clear, and playful, a name that works as a search term, an app listing, and a logo. The logo and visual identity are built around a fresh, contemporary, and approachable personality. Illustration gives the brand character and warmth, with a look no stock imagery could offer. The system was designed to be flexible, so it works at thumbnail size on a delivery app and at full scale on packaging. 2D animation adds movement for social and digital channels, bringing the personality to life where customers scroll and order. Visual communication keeps messaging, color, and tone consistent, so every post, menu, and box feels like the same friendly kitchen. The result is an identity that makes premium Middle Eastern food feel easy, fresh, and within reach from the first tap.
The Delivery Experience
In a cloud kitchen, the box is the table. Kook designed packaging that carries the Middle Eats identity from the kitchen to the customer’s door, turning every delivery into a small brand moment. Platters are the heart of the offer, so the packaging presents them as something worth sharing, photographing, and ordering again. Digital touchpoints follow the same rules, from app listings and social posts to animated content, so the brand feels consistent at every step of the order. Because the audience is broad, the visual language stays friendly and easy to read, never exclusive or overly formal. Affordable pricing and premium quality are expressed together, through clean layouts and confident details. Together, the name, identity, packaging, and animation give Middle Eats a complete delivery-first brand, built for screens, bags, and doorsteps. Developed in 2024 with Menu Mechanics, it shows Middle Eastern delights can be premium, affordable, and not the usual way.
